Nominations are open for 25 Under 35 awards

The Mahoning Valley Young Professionals, in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, is accepting nominations for the third annual 25 Under 35 Awards, which honor the Mahoning Valley’s best and brightest young professionals.

The awards ceremony is set for Feb. 11, 2016, at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave. Three nominees will be chosen for special accolades as Mahoning Valley Professional Award winners. All are selected by a small committee formed by the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley based upon professional and service categories.

The money raised supports the Young Philanthropist Fund, which teaches younger generations through fundraising, analysis of grant applications, site visits to nonprofits and recommendations of grant awards.

Nominees must be between the ages of 21 and 35 and may not exceed 35 years old before Aug. 31. They must live and/or work primarily in Columbiana, Mahoning or Trumbull counties.
