Staff report

WARREN

Ronald Walker, 67, of Bonnie Brae Avenue Northeast, died in a two-car accident on East Market Street Tuesday night after his car crossed the center line and hit a pickup truck head-on.

Walker was westbound and collided with an eastbound car driven by Brenda Conley, 63, of Superior Street in Newton Falls at 8:17 p.m. near Adelaide Avenue.

A passenger in Conley’s car, Caiden Damron, 11, of Beck Street Southeast, was taken to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital and then flown to Akron Children’s Hospital, police said.

Conley also was taken to Trumbull Memorial, which is near the crash site, with incapacitating injuries. Damon’s injuries also were described as incapacitating.

The crash remains under investigation by Warren police. It is not known yet how fast either vehicle was traveling or why Walker’s car crossed the center lane, said Eric Laprocina, the police department’s forensics officer.
