Mario's Mission fundraiser is Saturday in Niles

A fifth annual fundraiser to benefit Mario’s Mission will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at St. James Episcopal Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave. There will be a cavatelli and meatball dinner for $10 or $5 for children under 10. There also will be a 50-50 raffle and basket auction.

The event will benefit Mario Novello, a 7-year-old who was born with the rare disease Q4D, and ongoing research to find a cure for the disease.
