Maestro academy offers ‘Once On This Island’

SHARON, PA.

Maestro Performing Arts Academy will present “Once On This Island” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the Penn State Shenango Auditorium, 147 Shenango Ave., downtown Sharon.

Admission is free for both performances.

This fully staged musical features 24 students, ranging in age from 8-18, from 11 different school districts.

The story features a peasant girl on a tropical island, who uses the power of love to bring together people of different social classes.

Maestro Performing Arts Academy conducts classes at the James E. Winner Arts and Cultural Center, on East State Street in downtown Sharon.
