UPDATE | Lane closures on I-80 in Austintown now set for Thursday

AUSTINTOWN — The Ohio Department of Transportation announced Interstate 80 eastbound between state Route 46 and Salt Springs Road will be reduced to one lane as traffic is switched to the outside lanes starting at 8 p.m. Thursday through 6 a.m. Friday.

ODOT also said I-80 between the Ohio Turnpike and state Route 46 will have various daily lane restrictions for pavement repairs. This work is part of a $91.5 million project to widen I-80 between state Routes 11 and 193. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late July 2018.
