Open houses set in Poland, Lowellville

The final summer open house at the Little Red Schoolhouse, 4515 Center Road, Poland, will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The August meeting of Poland Historical Society will take place at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 19 at the schoolhouse. No program is scheduled.

The Carbon Limestone Landfill, 8100 S. Stateline Road, Lowellville, will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 14. There will be an opportunity to tour the facility, meet the employees and have a picnic lunch. Air-conditioned buses are provided for the tour. Adults and children are invited.
