OhioMeansJobs extends hours for Marshalls' applicants


BOARDMAN — OhioMeansJobs Mahoning County will have special extended hours next week to facilitate the recruitment of retail workers for the new Marshalls department store in Boardman.

Those interested in employment at Marshalls, which is scheduled to open in September, should come to the OhioMeansJobs center, 141 Boardman-Canfield Road, between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

On those days, the office will remain open until 6 p.m. to allow Marshalls’ applicants to fill out paper job applications with Marshalls’ staff onsite.

Marshalls plans to hire 75 as merchandise associates, administrative coordinators, backroom coordinators, customer experience/engagement coordinators and merchandise coordinators.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of retail work experience.
