Campbell bakery robber sought by police

CAMPBELL

Police are searching for a suspect in the robbery of a bakery this afternoon.

A victim who worked at Christy’s Pastry Shoppe, 49 12th St., reported to police that the suspect came in the bakery with a black cloth over his face, pointing what she thought was a gun and ordering to give him all the money.

The victim heard the suspect leave after she went to the back room of the bakery.

Police tried to use their dog to track down the suspect but was unsuccessful due to officers not knowing which direction the suspect went.

The suspect is described as a white male with dark hair, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin built.
