Austintown-Fitch High School Class of 1973 will celebrate its 60th birthday with a party on Aug. 29 at McMahon Hall at the Experimental Farm off Route 46 in Canfield. The event will begin at 4 p.m. and will include a buffet dinner catered by Barry Dyngles and open bar from 5 to 8 with beer, wine and soft beverages from 4 to 11 p.m. Fellow classmate and DJ Paul Hayes will provide music. The cost is $50 per person. The committee also is making arrangements for tailgating before the Fitch football game Aug. 28 and a tour of the high school. Beecher and Dorothy Yates Hodge Jr. Family Reunion will take place from 3 p.m. to dark Saturday at Chestnut Hill Pavilion in Mill Creek Park. Those who attend are asked to take at covered dish, dessert, beverages, ice or paper products for the community table. Board games, card games, basketballs, etc. also are welcome. Chaney High School Class of 1959 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 11 at Davidson’s in Cornersburg. Classmates and spouses are welcome.

East High School Class of 1954 will meet for lunch at noon Monday at TJs Restaurant in the Holiday Inn on South Avenue. Spouses and guests are welcome.

South High School Class of 1963 will have its monthly breakfast at 9 a.m. Aug. 12 at Bob Evans Restaurant on California Avenue in Boardman.

St. Angela Merici Parish, 400 Lincoln Park Drive, will host a social gathering from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 22 in the hall for the 1960-through-1969 graduating classes of Immaculate Conception and Sacred Heart schools. All are invited to attend 4 p.m. Mass before the social. There is no cost, but graduates are asked to take finger foods to share and their own beverages, such as pop, beer and wine.
