NEW WILMINGTON, PA.

The Westminster College Alumni Association’s Alumni Council started its year this month by welcoming members into new leadership roles.

“The Westminster connection is important to all who have experienced it – and it holds a special place in my life,” said James “Jim” Giel (’74), newly elected president of the alumni association. “This is the place where I grew personally and professionally and gained insight and knowledge from the liberal arts perspective. It’s where I met lifelong friends who have enriched my family’s lives and mine.”

Doug Hill (’76) was elected to serve as vice president. Brian Petrus (’10), instructor and program coordinator in the School of Business, will serve as faculty and staff representative, replacing Jesse Ligo, instructor and chairman of the School of Business, whose term ended June 30.
