Community Police Department Officer meet-and-greet sessions are planned this week for the city’s various wards.

Residents in the 4th and 5th wards are invited to meet their newly assigned community police officers Melvin Johnson and George Wallace in an informational meeting from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at 1639 Mahoning Ave.

Sixth Ward residents are invited to meet officer Shawna Cie Ott from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Dominic’s Parish Center, 77 E. Lucius Ave.

Residents of the 7th Ward will meet officer Phil Skowron from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Faith Community Church Fellowship Hall, 1919 E. Midlothian Blvd.
