Copies of land deeds can be made for low prices, Mahoning recorder says
YOUNGSTOWN — Noralynn Palermo, Mahoning County recorder, is once again reminding local residents they need not pay large fees to private companies for copies of their land deeds.
The charge is 10 cents a page for copies made by the public in the recorder’s office in the county courthouse. For certified copies, the charge is $2 a page, plus $1 for the certification stamp. Most deeds are two pages. A California company is mailing letters to local residents offering deed copies for $83.
