In a noon ceremony May 30, Rachel Stanko of Boardman and Kyle Sheehan of Canfield exchanged wedding vows at Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church. The Rev. Christopher Burke served as officiant.
The couple received congratulations afterward at Drake’s Landing in Canfield. They live in Canfield after a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The bride, daughter of Mark and Nancy Stanko of Boardman, is employed as a registered nurse at the Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman. She obtained an associate degree in nursing from Mercy College of Ohio and an associate degree in surgical technology from the University of Akron.
The groom, son of Daniel Sheehan of Youngstown and Penny Sheehan of Poland, is employed as an Ohio intervention specialist for Mahoning County Educational Service Center in Boardman. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in educational administration from Youngstown State University.
The bride wore a white Cinderella princess ball gown featuring a strapless sweetheart neckline, rhinestone and crystal beading, a chapel-length train and a net overlay fashioned with glitter.
Francine Stanko, sister of the bride, was her honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Christina Prasinos and Ashley Ragan, cousins of the bride, and Allison Dempster. They wore punch-colored gowns.
The groom’s cousin, Matthew Hassey, served as best man, and groomsmen were Dan Sheehan, brother of the groom; Stephen Stanko, brother of the bride; and Mark Maxwell.
The bride’s cousin Ben Ragan participated as ring bearer.
