Youngstown police ID both suspects in latest homicide

YOUNGSTOWN — Police have identified two juvenile suspects charged in the fatal shooting of an East LaClede Avenue man late last month.

Brayquan Walker, 16, is in custody at the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center facing an aggravated-murder charge in the death of Jarrel Brown, 18.

Police are still looking for James Johnson, 15, Detective Sgt. Rick Spotleson of the police department’s detective bureau, said today.

Brown was found shot to death about 10:15 p.m. July 26 at the intersection of West Indianola Avenue and Market Street on the South Side.
