Rev. Jeffrey Stanford is new pastor of Beulah Baptist Church

YOUNGSTOWN
The Rev. Jeffrey L. Stanford will be installed as pastor of Beulah Baptist Church, 570 Sherwood Ave., during a ceremony at 5 p.m. Aug. 9 in the sanctuary of Union Baptist Church, 528 Lincoln Ave., where the Rev. Michael H. Harrison Sr. is pastor.

The Rev. Mr. Stanford, a son of Jeffery Davis and the late Karen Stanford, graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He studied at I.T. Bradley College of Youngstown; Beran Bible College in Warren; and is working on a degree in Biblical studies.
His outreach service includes a prison ministry at Trumbull County Jail, where he led a twice-weekly Bible study; T.H.U.G.S. ministry (True Holiness under Gods Supervision); B.A.S.I.C. ministry (Brothers Anchored Strong in Christ); and serving as a facilitator of Pathway Sober House.
Mr. Stanford accepted his call to ministry in January of 2001 and preached his first sermon at Elim Christian Center in Warren. He was ordained as an evangelist in 2003 by Bishop T. Anthony Bronner of Elim. He also has served as a deacon, youth pastor, Sunday school and Bible study teacher, revivalist and assistant and senior pastor.
He was senior pastor at the Church of the Living Word and was associate pastor at Agape Assembly Church in Warren.
Mr. Stanford and his wife, the former Tiffany Hill of Warren, have three children.
