Kutlick Realty LLC of Boardman announced the off-price retailer Marshalls will come to Tiffany Square on U.S. Route 224 by fall 2015. Tiffany Square has a new facade, landscaping, lighting and new stores. Hobby Lobby moved to the plaza from another location in Boardman, and Fin Feather Fur also opened in the plaza. McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A are building new restaurants on the property.

Cortland Bancorp, the holding company for Cortland Savings and Banking Co., reported net income of $1.1 million, or $0.25 per share, for the first quarter of 2015, compared with $1.3 million, or $0.29 per share, for the first quarter of 2014, and $543,000 for the fourth quarter of 2014. First-quarter profits were generated from solid balance-sheet metrics and enhanced by solid contributions from its wealth-management and mortgage-banking business lines.

Penn National deal

WYOMISSING, Pa.

Penn National Gaming Inc. said Wednesday it entered a definitive agreement to acquire Tropicana Las Vegas Casino Hotel Resort from its shareholders — the largest of which is a partnership between Onex and Alex Yemenidjian — for $360 million. Penn National intends to fund the acquisition through an expansion of its existing credit facilities and cash on hand.

The Justice Department is seeking criminal charges against Lumber Liquidators in an ongoing investigation over imported products.

The company revealed the Justice Department push in a regulatory filing Wednesday while also posting a surprise loss for the quarter and announcing the departure of its chief financial officer.
