Former ‘Idol’ singer Abrams at casino

Singer-songwriter Casey Abrams, who was on season 10 of “American Idol,” will perform at Hollywood Gaming casino, 655 N. Canfield-Niles Road, this Friday.

Abrams will sing on the casino lounge stage between 8 and 10:30 p.m. Admission is free.

The 24-year-old Texan was one of the six finalists of the singing-competition show in 2011. He released his debut album in 2012, which included the singles “Get Out” and “Simple Life.”

Abrams, who recently completed a European tour, appeared in a December 2013 concert at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown with fellow “Idol” singer Lee DeWyze.
