GIRARD

Girard’s Robotics Team will be the entertainment at the Girard Multi-Generational Center gym on May 7.

A potluck luncheon will take place at noon with the entertainment to follow.

The event is open to the public, and the reservation deadline is today by calling the center at 330-545-6596.

A nurse also will do blood pressure screenings.

Red Hat chapters to meet for luncheon

On Friday, several local Red Hat chapters will travel to Shepherd of the Valley–Niles, 1500 McKinley Ave., for the annual Red Hat Luncheon from noon to 2:30 p.m.

The theme for this year’s event is “Hollywood,” complete with a red carpet, a step and repeat with fun props, and movie-inspired games and decorations.
