Donations sought to help aid earthquake victims

YOUNGSTOWN

Catholic Relief Services, the official overseas relief and development agency of the U.S. Catholic Bishops, and Caritas Internationalis, the international aid and development agency of the Catholic Church, are responding to the earthquake that struck Nepal and affected parts of India on Saturday.

Both CRS and its Caritas partners have begun procuring emergency relief materials such as tarpaulins/shelter kits and water, sanitation and hygiene materials.

Donations may be sent to Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund/CRS, c/o Catholic Charities, Diocese of Youngstown, 144 W. Wood Street, Youngstown, OH 44503.
