Angels for Animals plans bingo night

CANFIELD

Angels For Animals, 4750 W. South Range Road, will be the location of a mystery prize bingo night from 7 to 10 p.m. May 6. Doors open at 6.

There will be prizes valued at $30 and up. Some designer items are included.

The cost is $20 for 15 cards and five entries to the basket raffle. There will be 15 games. Each additional card is $2 for more chances to win.

Garden Forum will host card party

Leavittsburg

Trumbull County Garden Forum will host a card party open to the public at 6 p.m. May 8 at Johnson Community Center, 800 Gillmer Road. Admission is $5, payable at the door. Salads and desserts will be served, there will be many door prizes, table prizes and a 50-50 raffle.

Proceeds help the Garden Forum keep up the Flower Barn at the Trumbull County Fair.

The forum issues a reminder that the flower show at the fair is open to the community.

Getting Crafty planned at library

SALEM

A Getting Crafty class is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. May 11 in the Quaker Room at Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St.

Learn how to create simple paper flowers for use on gift packages, scrapbook pages, journals and in arrangements. All materials will be provided for the class. There is no cost to attend the class. Register online at www.salem.lib.oh.us., call the library for registration assistance, or stop in the library.

The Getting Crafty class for adults meets the second Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. Each month a different craft is created.
