3 — Sponsors Classic Golf Association at Windmill Lakes Golf Club. Two-man, best-ball event with a blind draw. Membership dues are $20. Each event has a $15 entry fee. Email scga@earthlink.net for more information.

3 — Columbiana Clippers softball team nine hole scramble. Four-person teams. Event is $30 per person or $120 per team. All proceeds go to the Clippers softball team. Call the pro shop at 330-482-9464 for more details.

8 — YSU Football Alumni Group Scramble at Youngstown Country Club. Registration at 9:30 a.m., lunch at 11 a.m., shotgun start at noon. Dinner at 6 p.m. Cost is $125 per person and includes golf, lunch, dinner and a YSU polo shirt. Golfers will have the opportunity to meet YSU President Jim Tressel and football coach Bo Pelini. 9 — Hickory Girls Tennis Golf Scramble at Tam O’Shanter Golf Course. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost is $75 per person and includes golf, cart, lunch, dinner and refreshments. LEAGUE NOTICES

Packard Electric Ladies Golf League — League play begins May 11 at Tamer Win Golf & Country Club and May 12 at Vienna Short Holes. New members must provide a documented handicap or can establish a handicap prior to beginning league play. Cost is $26 to join one division or $28 for both. Checks, made payable to Packard Electric Ladies Golf League, should be mailed by May 4 to: Carol Calhoun, 1000 Janet Lane N.E., Warren, Ohio 44481. Contact information should be included with payment. Tamer win will be open for league play May 4 for any members who wanted to play a practice round or establish a handicap. First Tee of Sharon — Registration will take place Thursday from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Buhl Farm Park Golf Course. Cost is $25 per golfer, $40 for a family of two and $55 for a family of three or more. Lessons are for children who have completed first grade or are ages 7 and up.

Davidson’s Wednesday Night Golf League — at Diamond Back Golf Course is looking for two men’s teams for league starting Wednesday. Shotgun start at 5:30 p.m. For more information call Rich at 330-533-7581.

Mahoning Valley Golf League — at Bedford Trails Golf Course will begin league play on Wednesday.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Golf League — at Knoll Run is looking for new members. The league plays on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30, starting May 5. Contact John Didek at 330-550-3824.

Holy Name Golf League — at Mahoning Country Club will begin its 49th season on May 4. A practice round will be available Monday.
