Theater schedules ‘Yankees’ auditions

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Auditions for the New Castle Playhouse’s summer musical, “Damn Yankees,” will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday in the theater at 202 E. Long Ave. Michael Cavalier will direct.

Auditionees are asked to prepare a vocal selection and sing with an accompaniment CD with no vocal track, or bring sheet music for an accompanist to play.

Actors may be asked to do a reading from the script. The show will be staged July 17-19 and 23-26.
