Poland 7, Canfield 3

CANFIELD

Matt Baker scattered four hits over six innings to get the win for the Bulldogs (11-1). Eric White earned the save. Anthony Calcagni had three hits, scored three runs and stole two bases. Marty Malenic’s two hits included a double. Jacob Hawkins had two hits and drove in two runs while Andrew Kosco doubled and brought home a run. For the Cardinals, Ryan Cheslik scored two runs and Pete Hernandez doubled.

Austintown Fitch 5, Niles 4

NILES

Dominic DiFrancesco had two hits and two RBIs to lead Fitch, while Jordan Kurm singled and drove in two runs. Garrett Pitts singled and scored two runs for Niles.

Struthers 4, Campbell 3

STRUTHERS

Jake Rudzik had two hits and scored the winning run for the Wildcats (4-6) at Cene Park. Brandon Cortez hit a RBI double while winning pitcher Mason Morrell struck out six and walked two in five innings. Clarence Jones had two hits for the Red Devils.

Canton Central Catholic 4, Cardinal Mooney 0

CANTON

Andrew Armstrong and Bryce Richey each doubled for Cardinal Mooney, which was held to two hits.

Western Reserve 11, McDonald 6

McDONALD

John Clegg singled, doubled, homered and drove in three runs for Western Reserve (11-2, 5-1 Inter Tri-County League Tier Two), which jumped out to a 9-1 lead after three innings. Walker Marlowe added two hits, two runs and two RBIs, and J. DiCioccio had two hits, two runs and a RBI. For McDonald, Garrett Mulrooney had four hits and scored a run and Cameron Ifft had two hits, two runs and a RBI.

South Range 11, Jackson-Milton 1

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Nick Deal scattered five hits and allowed just one run, while the South Range bats did the rest of the work in a win over Jackson-Milton. Brandon Youngs knocked in three runs and Greg Dunham had a double and a triple for the Raiders (8-5, 1-1).

Columbiana 15, East Palestine 10

EAST PALESTINE

N. Armstrong had three hits and scored three runs to lead the Clippers’ offense. K. Green drove in three runs and Aaron Saverko’s two hits included a double, Mitch Davidson drove in two runs while Matt Weidner, Green, J. Herbert and D. Davin each had two hits. For the Bulldogs, Ian Elliott drove in three runs and Josh Fristik two.

Crestview 7, Lisbon 2

NEW WATERFORD

Riley Mackall’s three hits sparked the Rebels’ offense and Andy Gorby tossed a two-hitter, striking out 10 and walking one. For the Blue Devils, Bryan Scarabino and B. McCullough had the hits.

BOARDMAN

Kristen Huck pitched a four-hitter and had two hits. Marisa Hanna led the Spartans offense with three hits while Addison Menosky and Lauren Gabriele each tripled. Lakeside’s Toni Stranman had a hit and scored the run.

Holland Springfield 5, Poland 0

LAGRANGE

K. Aller had three hits and L. Buck drove in two runs for Holland Springfield at the Prebis Invitational. For the Bulldogs, Chloe Bush had two hits and Claire Testa one.

Hubbard 12, Girard 1

GIRARD

Addy Jarvis struck out 10, allowing only a walk and a hit, and had two doubles at the plate to lead Hubbard. Annie Zagorek crushed a home run and Caitlin O’Hara added three hits for the Eagles (8-6). Carlee Byrne was charged with the loss. Melanie Bakes scored the run for the Indians (6-4). Jarvis’ record improved to 7-0 on the mound.

Brookfield 14, Niles 0

NILES

KenYana Ashley had two doubles and two RBIs for Brookfield, while Lauren Pesa added two hits and three RBIs for Brookfield. Alisha Quinlan pitched a three-hitter with four strikeouts and one walk.

LaBrae 8, Edgewood 2

ASHTABULA

Ariel Kresen hit two doubles while Haley Davies had two hits and scored twice for the Vikings. Skyler Gilanyi and Lauren Rutherford each drove in two runs. Kristen Saner tripled, Rutherford doubled while Morgan Meyer scored two runs.

Cardinal Mooney 17, Youngstown Christian 1

Jami DiFabio had four hits and four RBIs, Sydney Kocher had three hits and Adrianna Popovich had two doubles for the Cardinals (11-1). Freshman Sydney Shugart pitched a one-hitter over five innings with five strikeouts.

GARFIELD HEIGHTS

Jordyn Kenneally pitched a two-hit shutout, striking out seven and walking one for Ursuline (8-6). Cassie Hanuschak and Chloe Cruz each had two hits, including RBI doubles by both in the sixth inning. Trinity is 5-6.

NEW WATERFORD

Autumn Lindsey tossed a two-hitter for the Rebels, striking out four and walking none. Lindsey Balmenti led the offense with four hits and two runs scored. For the Blue Devils, Kryston Rose and Devon Flory each had a hit.

Western Reserve 12, McDonald 4

MCDONALD

Aleah Hughes had nine strikeouts on the mound and three RBIs on four hits at the plate to lead Western Reserve over McDonald. Maddie Kreitzburg added three RBIs and a pair of hits for the Blue Devils (5-5, 5-1). Cheyenne Titus struck out four and walked four, taking the loss for the McDonald (6-3, 4-1). Kerrigan McDermott had two hits.

West Branch 13, Ravenna 1

RAVENNA

Kelsey Byers had three hits, including a double and a homer, and four RBIs for West Branch (8-4). Kylie Coffelt and Ellie Elasivich each added two hits and a RBI. Ravenna is 4-5.
