Free rides for early voting on Monday and May 3

YOUNGSTOWN

The Community Mobilization Coalition is offering free rides from churches on each side of the city to the Mahoning County Board of Elections for those who want to vote early.

The “Souls to the Polls” events will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and from 1 to 5 p.m. May 3, two days before the primary election.

Van transportation will be provided to the board from these locations:

East Side – Price Memorial AME Zion Church, 920 Dryden Ave.

West Side – Gethsemane Baptist Church, 1727 Kincaid Road.

North Side – Tabernacle Baptist Church, 707 Arlington St.

South Side – New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman St.

There are Democratic primaries in all seven Youngstown council wards.
