Guitar ensemble to play at Cedars

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown State University Guitar Ensemble will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday at Cedars West End, 706 Steel St. Admission is $5.

The program includes works by Jobim, Bach and Metheny. The second set will feature music for strings with violinists Joseph Kromholz and Jay Koziorynsky. The evening is presented by West End Ensemble, a string quartet.

Theaters team up for autism benefit

YOUNGSTOWN

Acting for Autism, a theatrical and musical revue featuring many local arts organizations, will be Saturday at 7 p.m. at Fairview Arts and Outreach Center, 4220 Youngstown-Poland Road. The show benefits the Autism Society of Ohio’s Mahoning Valley chapter. Tickets are $30 and include an hors d’oeuvre reception, dessert at intermission, a basket auction and open bar.
