Western Reserve 9, LaBrae 6

BERLIN CENTER

Wyatt Larimer had three hits, two RBIs and scored a run to lead Western Reserve (10-2), which jumped out to a 6-1 lead after one inning. Walker Marlowe added two hits and scored twice and John Clegg (1-2) pitched five innings to earn his first win. Jacob Kaschak had two hits and scored twice and Nathan Hendryx had two hits, a run and a RBI for LaBrae.

SOFTBALL

Ursuline 11, Struthers 1

YOUNGSTOWN

Freshman Jordyn Kenneally (6-4) gave up two hits over five innings, striking out 10 at the YSU softball field. She also doubled, tripled and drove in two runs for Ursuline (6-6). Chloe Cruz, Christina Xenakis and Megan Ross each had two hits for the Irish. Cruz also had two RBIs and Zoie Amatore added a double. Dana Wilkos struck out five for Struthers.

Cardinal Mooney 25, Western Reserve Academy 8

HUDSON

Kelly Williams had three hits and scored four runs for Mooney (9-1). Kayla Rutherford doubled and drove in three runs, Sydney Kocher had three RBIs, Damani Santiago scored four runs and freshman Sydney Shugart went the distance for the win. WRA is 3-3.
