Friday's opiate summit at Avalon Inn in Howland sold out

HOWLAND — The 2015 Opiate Summit: Understanding the Impact, sponsored by the Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention Opiate Task Force, will be from 8:30 a.. to 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Avalon Inn and Resort.

This professional development event will give participants a better understanding of the opiate epidemic in Trumbull County. The event is sold out and no admissions are being accepted at the door.

The keynote speaker is Tom Coderre, senior advisor to the administrator of the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration.
