UPDATE | Kevin Wright convicted of felonious-assault charges, faces 59 years in prison
YOUNGSTOWN — A jury in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court today took less than two hours to convict Kevin Wright, 30, of Bauker Street, on five counts of felonious assault and two counts of shooting into a habitation.
Wright was being tried before Judge Maureen Sweeney for a shooting at Bauker Street and Jacobs Road on the city's East Side on Feb. 1, 2011. The case was not indicted until 2013.
He faces a potential sentence of at least 59 years in prison. A sentencing date has not been set.
