Eighth-grade spring concert is Friday in Boardman

BOARDMAN — Boardman middle schools will present an eighth-grade spring concert featuring the Center and Glenwood jazz ensembles at 7 p.m. Friday in the Center Middle School auditorium off Market Street.

The concert will showcase the talent of both band programs, opening with the seventh- and eighth-grade jazz ensembles. It also will include music from the movie “Patton,” a medley of metal songs, songs from “The Phantom of the Opera” and a Meghan Trainor medley.

Tickets cost $3 for adults, $2 for students, and seniors and children under 10 get in for free.
