CORTLAND
In addition to Hartford Hill Winery, Northern Trumbull County is also home to Greene Eagle Winery and Country Porch Winery.
Greene Eagle Winery
Visitors can “take a sip back in time” at this Cortland winery that’s designed to evoke the charm and comfort of an old-fashioned tavern. Dream by the fireside and sip your favorite sweet or dry wine, or mark your calendar for live entertainment Friday and Saturday evenings.
Thursday evenings are Girls Night Out.
If you’re hungry, Greene Eagle serves appetizers, salads and sandwiches. The winery’s yearly schedule features special events such as a Headless Horseman re-enactment at Halloween and appearances by Abraham Lincoln and George Washington impersonators in honor of Presidents Day.

Country Porch Winery
Country Porch Winery got its start as Cortland Wine Cellar, which was housed in a warehouse on state Route 5 north of Cortland. After five years, the owners purchased a charming country house on Wilson Sharpsville Road and opened Country Porch Winery.
Here patrons can unwind in a “cozy, just-like-home” atmosphere and enjoy good food, good wine and quality time with friends. Special events, such as a holistic health and psychic night every second Wednesday of the month, massage therapy Thursdays and a variety of “paint and taste” classes complete the winery’s calendar.
