On National Match Day on March 20, senior medicine students at Northeast Ohio Medical University learned where they will continue their medical training in residency programs after graduation. Fifty percent of the College of Medicine’s graduating class will remain in Ohio for their residencies, 27 percent of which will remain in NEOMED’s hospital partners, and 46 percent of graduates will continue their training in a primary care field such as family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics or obstetrics/gynecology.
