Heather Martin to wed Troy Balint on May 23

Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Martin of Newton Falls are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Heather R. Martin of Glen Allen, Va., and Troy J. Balint of Newton Falls. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Troy E. Balint, also of Newton Falls.

Invitations will be issued for a May 23 wedding at First Federated Church in North Jackson and a reception.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree at Ohio University and a doctorate from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. She is a resident physician at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, Va. Her fiancé received a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University. He is a fifth-grade math teacher at Austintown Intermediate School.
