Toronto police are asking for help to recover a Stanley Cup ring that was stolen last month.

Samis, who is from Edmonton, played five games for the Leafs in the 1947-48 playoffs and a pair of regular-season games in 1949-50.

Report: Kings’ Stoll arrested for cocaine

LAS VEGAS

Los Angeles Kings forward Jarret Stoll was arrested Friday on suspicion of possession of drugs at a Las Vegas resort swimming pool complex, police said.

Stoll, 32, was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine and Ecstasy at the Wet Republic pool at the MGM Grand hotel, Las Vegas Metro police confirmed. Police said NHL security has been notified.

The longtime boyfriend of television sportscaster and “Dancing with the Stars” co-host Erin Andrews, Stoll has been with the Kings since 2008 and is an unrestricted free agent. The Kings’ season ended Saturday when they failed to qualify for postseason play after winning the Stanley Cup last season.

No further information was immediately available.

Correction

A Sports Digest brief in Friday’s Vindicator sports section incorrectly attributed a penalty as being applied by the Canfield Schools due to incorrect information supplied by the Ohio High School Athletic Association. The violation in question was self-reported by Canfield, but the penalty was determined and applied by the OHSAA.
