Manifested Promises, The Living Word Church, 2051 McGuffey Road, Youngstown, will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a three-day event this month.
Friday: A jubilee concert is planned at 7 p.m. with current and former choir members.
Next Saturday: A banquet is planned from 5 to 9 p.m. at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman on the theme, “A Night to Remember.” Speakers will be the Rev. Robert Robinson of Griffin, Ga., and Glen Holmes, mayor of McDonald, who will talk about politics and Christianity. Professor Charles Robinson of Campbell will sing the hymn, “Eternal Life,” and Linda Sutton, “Where Roses Never Fade.” The Robinsons are sons of the church founders. April 26: At the 10:30 a.m. service, Pastor Otto Rosendary will focus on “The Legacy” of the church founders.
