A Nov. 8, 2014, ceremony at St. Paul Church in Akron united Ellen Margaret Krol of Cleveland and Ryan Joseph Monti of Cortland in marriage. A reception followed at Guy’s Party Center, also in Akron.

The bride’s sister, Lauren Krol, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenn Rupp, Katie Barney, Danielle Zavada, Stephanie Johnson and Kristie Burke.

Kevin Monti, the groom’s brother, performed duties of best man. Groomsmen included the bride’s brother, Jonathon Krol; Vince Monti; Carmen DeCristofaro; Nate Persin; and Matt Marshall.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple live in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Maureen Krol of Cleveland, and her husband is the son of Lou and Marilyn Monti of Cortland.

She earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Gannon University, and she works at Metro Hospital in Cleveland.

Mr. Monti has a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from John Carroll University and a doctorate from Youngstown State University. He works at Akron Children’s Hospital.
