TODAY

Boar’s Head Group of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will serve a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. The meal includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, bread and butter, pie and a beverage. The cost is $7.50. No reservations are necessary. Pricetown Methodist Church, 4640 Pritchard-Ohltown Road, Newton Falls, will host its next home-cooked supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. It will feature chicken-stuffing casserole bake, mashed potatoes, corn, super salad, rolls, dessert and beverage. Prices are $7 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and younger. Carryouts will be available.

THURSDAY

Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road, at the corner of Market Street, Boardman, will serve dinners of beef tips and noodles from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Meals of Angus beef tips, homestyle noodles, corn, roll with butter and a homemade cookie sell for $8 and are takeout only. FRIDAY

Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. Order by phone beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. A limited supply of frozen pirogi will be available.

Holy Trinity Church, 250 N. Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders may be picked up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi for $6 per dozen. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. No containers are necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. Use the side entrance.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, sells potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi for $6 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome.

SATURDAY

Calvary Baptist Church, 1463 Shields Road, Youngstown, phone 330-792-7873, will host a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. for dining in or takeout. Meals include meatballs, salad, Italian bread, homemade dessert and a beverage. Prices are $8 for adults and $3 for children. Proceeds will benefit the Rescue Mission and Operation Blessing.

Gold Wing Road Riders Association Chapter M will host its annual rigatoni dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Drive, at the corner of Southern Boulevard in Boardman. Dinners cost $7.50 per adult and $4 for children 10 and under. Takeouts will be available, and there will be a basket auction. Profits will go to the Dorothy Day House, a haven for the homeless and others in need.

New Waterford United Methodist Church, 46925 S. State St., will host a pancake breakfast and book sale from 8 to 11 a.m. Donations will be accepted.

Western Reserve Masonic Lodge, 216 E. Main St. (Route 88) in West Farmington, will serve spaghetti and meatball dinners from 4 to 6 p.m. Dinners come with salad, bread, pie, coffee and lemonade. Donations are $7 for adults, $4.50 for children 5 to 12, and free for those under 5. Meals are all you can eat when dining in.

SUNDAY

Fowler Fire Department will serve its monthly pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, 3386 Youngstown Kingsville Road (state Route 193), Fowler. Prices are $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for seniors, $4.50 for children, and free for preschoolers.

Our Lady of the Lakes Men’s Club will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. in the church hall, 50 Rosemont Road, North Jackson. Dinners cost $8 for adults and $5 for children 11 and under. Salads, homemade desserts and beverages are included. Carryout is available.

Southington American Legion Post will serve a pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the post home, 3145 Warren-Burton Road, Southington. Donations are $6.50 for adults, $4 for children under 12 and free for kids 4 and under. Meals consist of pancakes and sausage or biscuits and gravy. Pancakes are all you can eat.

VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve a homestyle breakfast sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary from 8 a.m. to noon. Breakfast consists of eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or freedom toast, toast and coffee or tea. Prices are $6 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12.

Sharon First United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon, Pa., will serve takeout-only ham loaf dinners from 4 to 6 p.m. April 25. The price is $8. For tickets call 724-983-0200.
