Ian Hames’ RBI single scored Ryan Demsky with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh for Western Reserve (4-1), which scored five runs in the inning to rally. Evan Nesbitt had four hits, including two doubles, and four RBIs and Walker Marlowe had four hits, two stolen bases and three RBIs in the win. Justice Ramirez had three hits and two RBIs for Mogadore (0-2).

Drake Batcho tossed a four-hitter for the win in the opener. Michael Turner had three hits and Joe Batcho added two hits and two RBIs for the Flashes. Cody Smith had two hits for Southington (1-2). In the nightcap, Joe Batcho singled, doubled and drove in four runs and Mitch Miterko had two hits and three RBIs for Champion (5-1). Austin Dodril struck out four to get the win.

Jenna Ballas pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks for Newton Falls (4-0). Cammie Cochran had three hits, Hallie Stamm singled, tripled and drove in a run, Madison Spahlinger singled, doubled and drove in a run and Rhonda Rothacker singled and doubled. For Reserve (1-3), Aleah Hughes hit a solo homer.
