Mindy D’Amore to wed John Mauk in Oct. ceremony

Tom and Diane Uher of Lordstown are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Mindy D’Amore, and John Mauk, both of Delaware, Ohio. He is the son of John W. and Judy Mauk of Lima, Ohio.

The couple’s wedding is planned for Oct. 3 in Lancaster, Ohio, where the reception will follow. Invitations will be issued.

The bride-elect, who graduated from Kent State University, is a social worker for Children Services with the Delaware County, Ohio, Department of Job and Family Services.

The prospective groom attended Ohio State University and is a color lab supervisor for PPG Industries in Columbus. He also is a part-time firefighter-EMT with Tri-Township Fire Department.
