Facilities: McMahon Hall, a multipurpose hall, is available for rental year-round; Classroom A space can accommodate up to 45 people for a seminar or party; administrative office with bookkeeping, payroll, reservation processing and human resources. Call 330-702-3000.

MetroParks Bikeway: This 11-mile paved trail for hikers, skaters and bicyclists is located at the north end of the parking lot.

Archery range: Open from dawn to dusk behind the educational complex. Bring your own bow and arrows. Targets are set up at 10, 20 and 30 yards.

Demonstration rain garden: This site is designed to capture runoff and allows water to seep slowly into the ground.

Farm: Barn hours from April through October are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. From 1 to 4 p.m. May 3, there will be a guided tractor-wagon tour about every half-hour. “Is Your Mama a Llama?” will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 9 with tractor-wagon rides every half-hour, small fee for crafts and barns open. “A Little Taste of the Farm” is planned from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 30 by Mahoning County Livestock Committee with a display of farm animals to teach about the differences among dairy and beef cows, breeds of sheep and pigs and activities that include a farm coloring page, story time, milking a cow, farm animal bingo and a farm craft. In October, there are guided wagon rides that stop at the pumpkin patch.
