Tuber sale planned

YOUNGSTOWN

Mahoning Valley Dahlia Society will host its annual tuber sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until sold out Sunday in the Davis Education Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., in Mill Creek Park.

Dahlia society members will have tubers available from pompom to dinner plate varieties. Dahlia pictures are provided with each variety to show the name, size and color.

Members will be present to help with your selections and to answer questions about growing dahlias. The dahlia plant sale will take place at the same location from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 24.

Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, 1350 E. Market St., Conference Room 1,2,3.

Low-vision group to meet at Park Vista

Low-Vision Support Group will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Park Vista North Lounge, 1310 Fifth Ave.

The Low-Vision Support Group meets the second Tuesday of every month. For information call 330-746-2944.

Pink Ribbon day set

LIBERTY

The annual Pink Ribbon Golf Classic will take place July 13 at Youngstown Country Club, 1402 Country Club Drive.

All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. The 18-hole scramble will be followed by lunch and a basket auction and raffle.
