Youngstown woman said she laid on couch for a week after an assault and robbery

YOUNGSTOWN — An East Wood Street woman told police about 6:45 p.m. Thursday she laid on her couch for a week and waited for neighbors to call an ambulance after she said she was attacked by a man she knows April 3.

The woman, 55, told police the man attacked her with no warning and took $200 and her cellphone. She said she could not move, but was able to post a note on her door asking someone to call for help.

Reports said the woman did have a small cut on her face.
