St. James will host a breakfast-brunch
PULASKI, PA.
St. James the Apostle Church, 4019 U.S. Route 422, will host a breakfast-brunch from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
The prices are $8 for adults and $4 for children.
Breakfast consists of French toast, sweet cheese filling, buttermilk and buckwheat pancakes, scrambled eggs, eggs with peppers, onions and cheese, home fries, bacon, sausage, ham, toast, cinnamon rolls, hot and cold cereals, coffee, tea, juices and milk.
Beatitude House sets wine, auction event

Beatitude House will sponsor a Wine Taste and Auction Revamped on May 1 at The Embassy, 5030 Youngstown-Poland Road.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the after party begins at 9 p.m.

On hand will be Basinger Auction Services with live and silent auctions and Jeff Kelly of Oldies 106.1. Features include Cleveland whiskey and Youngstown vodka tastings, wine and chocolate pairings, hors d’oeuvres, a full-course dinner and a dueling piano show.
Breakfast to benefit the Humane Society

To benefit the Humane Society of Columbiana County, the Columbiana County Farm Bureau will sponsor a $2 breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. or until the food runs out Saturday at the Winona Friends Church, 4615 Whinnery Road. On the menu are pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, milk and coffee.
Learn about the importance of the agricultural community, farming and farmers and also about the work of the Humane Society. Take in an item from the HSCC wish list and receive a free raffle ticket to win Smith Dairy ice cream every month for a year.
On the list are cat litter (Paws and Claws, 40 pounds nonclumping), dog food (Pedigree adult, original in the blue and yellow bag), cat food (Purina Cat Chow) 2 mop heads (Oda ban), laundry soap; pill pockets; paper towels; trash bags; dryer sheets; and latex gloves.
