Services Satuday for longtime Fitch band director

AUSTINTOWN — Longtime Fitch band director, Larry Snell, recently died. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Austintown Community Church next to Panera on state Route 46.

Quite a few of his former students will be gathering with their instruments to honor him by playing the Fitch band marches, ending with their traditional "Stars and Stripes Forever," according to an email from the Austintown Fitch Band Alumni Association.
