A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

March 29

Warrant: Police arrested Nancy Marks, 37, of Peerless Avenue, Warren, on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear.

March 30

Drug charges: Police arrested Damien Mazza, 26, of Alliance, on charges of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 31

Drug charge: Police arrested Jessy Cannon, 22, of Carter Circle, Boardman, on a charge of drug possession.

April 2

Drug abuse: Police arrested Ramez Fattah, 22, of Youll Road, Niles, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug possession, and Jordan Kelly, 20, of North Raccoon Road, Niles, on a drug-possession charge.

April 3

Fraud: A report of fraudulent tax returns and identity theft to a person living on Alabaster Avenue was turned over to the IRS.

AUSTINTOWN

March 30

Theft: A wallet was reported stolen at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, 777 Hollywood Drive.

Theft: A tractor-trailer was broken in to and electronics and change were taken at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An iPhone was taken from an auto parked at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Forced entry was made in a fenced-in area at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave., but nothing appeared to be taken, police said.

March 31

Warrant: Police arrested Paige Kellar, 23, of Mauro Circle, Warren, on a domestic dispute with her mother at a home in the 3000 block of Mahoning Ave. and was later arrested her on a warrant for possession of Oxycodone.

Aggravated menacing: A woman threatened to shoot up a house in the 5000 block of Kirk Road.

April 1

Criminal damaging: Damage to a vehicle’s steering wheel and column was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: A woman’s wallet contents was stolen at a home in the 40 block of N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Bad checks: Bad checks were reported at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

April 2

Theft: A U-Haul trailer was stolen from the Holiday Inn Express, 5555 Cerni Place.

Theft: Several items were stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 3000 block of New Road.

Theft: A Chrome notebook was reported stolen at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Theft: Money was taken from a wallet at Walmart.

Theft: A juvenile took computer items from a neighbor’s home on Idlewood Road.

Lost/recovered property: A cellphone was misplaced, and later recovered at the Austintown Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.

Assault: Police charged Antoine Davis, 20, of Elm Trace Streeet, with an assault on another man and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Aggravated menacing: Aggravated menacing was reported at a home in the 200 block of Elm Trace.

Criminal damaging: There is a suspect in criminal damaging at a home in the 1000 block of Compass West.

April 3

Fraud: A fraud was reported at a home in the 5000 block of East Radio Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Michael Morris, 40, of Royal Mall Drive, Niles, on a warrant for contempt of court.

Arrest: Police arrested Charles Russell, 50, of South Edgehill Avenue, on a domestic-violence charge.

April 4

Criminal trespassing: Police charged Adam Pondillo, 33, of Market Street, Youngstown, with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct at a home in the 200 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Cheri Vandyke, 53, of Wyoming Avenue, Niles, for theft of $90.27 in items she walked through the store with and through the self-scan at Walmart.

Burglary: Forced entry was reported at a home in the 200 block of Elvira Avenue.

April 5

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Terrance Sullivan, 30, of Rhode Island Drive, for possession of marijuana, and also issued a summons to Gerrid Gilbert, 31, of White Beech Lane, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic offense.

Drug offense: Police issued a warrant to Christopher Richards, 24, of Wedgewood Drive, on a summons for theft of marijuana from a juvenile.

Animal complaint: A neighbor destroyed another neighbor’s dog after it attacked his dog in the 100 block of South Main Street.
