Miranda Russo, Philip Johnson are engaged

Miranda Russo and Philip Johnson are engaged, their parents are announcing.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Gina Russo of Austintown. Parents of the future groom are Patty and Brad Harvey and Dr. Gary and Tammy Johnson of Shelby, Ohio.

Invitations will be issued for the wedding planned for 1:30 p.m. May 2 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Youngstown and for a reception at Drake’s Landing in Canfield.

The bride-elect received an associate degree in prekindergarten education from Youngstown State University. She is employed as a service adviser by Cerni Motor Sales Inc. of Youngstown.

The prospective groom graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering management and technology. He attends Robert Morris University, where he is working toward a master’s degree in engineering management. He is employed by Cubbison Co. of Youngstown as a printed electronics and shipping manager.
