Elizabeth Sepesy, Lucas Stanovcak plan May rites

Elizabeth Christine Sepesy of Struthers and Lucas Richard Stanovcak of Canfield are announcing their engagement and upcoming wedding.

She is the daughter of Bob and Davita Sepesy of Struthers.

His parents are Rick and Amy Stanovcak of Canfield.

The couple are planning an open wedding at 1:30 p.m. May 2 at Zion Lutheran Church in Cornersburg.

A reception, for which invitations will be issued, will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel hall in Youngstown.

The bride-elect, a graduate of Youngstown State University, earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She works as a nurse at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

The prospective groom, also a YSU graduate, earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is self-employed in Canfield.
