Duzzny to head Reserve Officers Association

Colonel Walter M.Duzzny Sr USA (ret) Austintown, has been elected to serve as the president of the Mahoning Chapter of The Reserve Officers Association for the years 2015.

Duzzny, a 30 year veteran of the army reserves and National Guard, has had numerous command and staff assignments.

The local chapter is part of a 60,000 member national organization whose mission is to support national security and dedicated to the support of Reservists and the critical role that they play in our nations defense for all branches of the military. The local Chapter hosts several fundraisers that benefit veterans throughout the year.

The organization is open to Officers, Warrant Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers from all branches of the military, and meet monthly at the Manor Restaurant in Austintown.

Also elected were Col Willard Stamp USA (ret) vice president; CWO William Meshot, USA (ret) secretary; and LTC Michael Wisniewski USA (ret), treasurer.

Elections were also offered for the Reserve Officers Association League. Elected were Barb Stamp (president), Carol Stepuk (vice president), Bonnie Rasile (treasurer) and Rose Pacalo (secretary).
