Dan Boerio pitched a four-hitter with seven strikeouts and one walk for Boardman (4-2), which scored six runs in the top of the seventh. Lou Cardona singled, doubled and drove in four and Geno Beato and Gaven Strines each had two hits and two RBIs.

Poland 4, Morgan Park (Ill.) 3

COCOA BEACH FLA.

Matt Baker gave up one run in five innings and Pad O’Shaughnessy added a home run and earned the save for the Bulldogs (4-0). Anthony Calcagni scored a run and had a RBI.

Lenape (N.J.) 12, Niles 5

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.

Jaret Johnson singled, doubled, scored a run and had a RBI to lead Niles at the Ripken Experience. Murphy Miller added a single and two runs and Damien Coleman singled and drove in three for the Red Dragons.

Canfield 13, St. Joseph Hill Academy (N.Y.) 0

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.

Kara Rothbauer had a triple and finished with five RBIs for the Cardinals (4-0). Rachel Tinkey added three doubles and five RBIs. Allison Farby pitched five innings and got the win.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.

Kristen Huck, Olivia Russell, Miyah Mitchum and Addison Menosky all had three hits for the Spartans. Sydney Aey threw seven innings, allowing two hits.

South Range 8, Elizabeth Seton (Md.) 2

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.

Felicia Gaeta had two runs, a double and an RBI, Jordan Youngs singled and drove in two and Morgan Czopur had two hits for South Range (4-1) at the Grand Strand Softball Classic. Taylor Helon got the win, giving up two runs on six hits with no walks and two strikeouts in 42/3 innings. Seton is 5-3.
