Run Away from Drugs event is Saturday in Columbiana

COLUMBIANA — Leadership Columbiana County will host a Run Away From Drugs 5K Run/Walk event on Saturday at Pavilion 1 in Firestone Park. Registration will be 8 to 8:45 a.m. and the race will begin at 9.

Cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children 11 and under.

Proceeds will be donated to create new drug awareness and prevention programs in Columbiana County schools. Several groups involved with drug education, awareness and rehabilitation will be present.
