Get ready to slip-and-slide down Market Street

Slide the City will hit downtown Youngstown on June 27.

The 1,000-foot, American-made, padded, slick vinyl slide is making its rounds across the country and will be located on the Market Street Bridge.

Billed as a family-friendly slip-and-slide water party event, the gathering will include live music, food, drinks and water.

The local charity partner for the event is the Rich Center for Autism.
